Unlike many online training courses, this is a completely ‘live’ session that has been designed from scratch to work virtually and uses a range of interactive techniques including quizzes, scenarios and discussion groups to help learners prepare for a safe gap year experience.

Course content is designed specifically for gap year travellers and is delivered by people who have travelled on gap years themselves before pursuing a career in the uniform services. We focus primarily on the everyday travel risks ever-present on a gap year and less on the more extreme, highly unlikely situations such as kidnap and ransom.
